Suspected poachers in the wee hours on Tuesday shot dead one person identified as Azibur Rahman at Bhojmari in Sootea. It may be mentioned, Azibur walked out of the jail two months ago after serving imprisonment for involvement in rhino poaching. According to reports, Azibur after his release from the jail was providing inputs to the cops about the poaching nexus active in the state. .303 rifle cartridges were recovered from the spot.[Source::Dy365]
