The entire nation on Monday bid tearful adieu to its brave hearts who laid down their lives fighting terrorists in the Uri terror attack on Sunday. Heavily armed militants suspected to be from Pakistan-based JeM had on Sunday stormed an Army base in Kashmir, killing 17 jawans. Another soldier Sepoy K Vikas Janardhan, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, taking the toll to eighteen. The mortal remains of the 18 martyrs were taken to their ancestral places for their last rites.
