Two rhino poachers from Assam were arrested by a joint team of Assam Police and Forest Department officials in Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. They were assisted by personnel from the Tamil Nadu forest department.The two poachers, Maqbul Hussain and Noor Qasim, were involved in the killing of two rhinos at Bagori range of the Kaziranga National Park on August 3, 2016. A joint-operation conducted by the Assam and Tamil Nadu Forest departments traced the two poachers after a three-day operation, sources said.The poachers were taken to Kaziranga for further interrogation, the sources added.;[Source::Pratidin Time]
