Bomb scare on Air India flight to Guwahati

An Air India flight was ordered to park at an isolated area of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata on Tuesday after a bomb threat, airport officials said.
 
A threat call received around 8.20 am on Tuesday morning at the airport said that a bomb had been planted on board Guwahati bound Air India flight AI-729.
 
Air traffic controllers directed the pilots to taxi the plane to an area away from other jets for safety reasons.

Authorities safely evacuated all the passengers and crew members to check for a bomb.
